Nobel Prize Laureate Stuns Colleagues with Homeopathy At A Prestigious International Scientific Meeting

At a recent international meeting of Nobel Laureates held last week in Germany, Luc Montagnier presented a new method for detecting viral infections using the principles of homeopathy. He is a nobel laureate who discovered the link between HIV and AIDS.

“Montagnier told the conference last week that solutions containing the DNA of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, including HIV, “could emit low frequency radio waves” that induced surrounding water molecules to become arranged into “nanostructures”. These water molecules, he said, could also emit radio waves.

He suggested water could retain such properties even after the original solutions were massively diluted, to the point where the original DNA had effectively vanished. In this way, he suggested, water could retain the “memory” of substances with which it had been in contact — and doctors could use the emissions to detect disease.”

For the lay person such claims may sound technical, but uncontroversial. For scientists they are highly provocative because they embody principles which are extremely similar to those that underpin homeopathy. Homeopathic medicines work on the principle that a toxic substance taken in minute amounts will cure same symptoms that it would cause if it were taken in large amounts.
Montagniers claims come at a sensitive time, with British Medical Associations annual conference last week calling for the National Health Service to stop spending 4 million a year on homeopathy.

Success in Cancer Treatment with Homeopathy!

Posted on April 20, 2010. Filed under: Success in Cancer Treatment with Homeopathy! | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Great article!! You can read it in it’s entirety here http://www.cancerdecisions.com/content/view/414/2/lang,english/!

A landmark paper on homeopathy and cancer has appeared in the February 2010 issue of the International Journal of Oncology. Scientists at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MDA), led by Moshe Frenkel, MD, have confirmed the ability of four homeopathic remedies to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in breast cancer cell lines in the laboratory. The scientists in question were from the Integrative Medicine Program, the Department of Molecular Pathology, and the Department of Melanoma Medical Oncology of MDA. Their two Indian collaborators were from the Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation, Kolkata, India, where these same remedies are employed clinically with apparent success. The four ultra-dilute remedies in question were Carcinosin, Phytolacca, Conium and Thuja.
“The remedies exerted preferential cytotoxic effects against the two breast cancer cell lines, causing cell cycle delay/arrest and apoptosis” the authors wrote.
It was particularly interesting that the cell-killing effects of two of the remedies investigated in this study, Carcinosin and Phytolacca, appeared similar to the activity of paclitaxel (Taxol), the most commonly used chemotherapeutic drug for breast cancer, when it was tested in the same two adenocarcinoma cell lines investigated in this study.
Phytolacca is better known as pokeweed root, which grows as a towering weed in the US and elsewhere. Conium maculatum is poison hemlock, while Thuja occidentalis comes from the Eastern Arborvitae tree. Carcinosin is the only non-botanical in the group. It is made from a highly diluted extract of breast cancer tissue. These are typically used at the Banerjis’ clinic in India to treat breast cancer. The use of poisonous plants to treat cancer, while unusual, is not necessarily controversial. Madagascar periwinkle, for instance, yields the familiar vinca alkaloids–vincristine and vinblastine. The aforementioned paclitaxel (Taxol) is derived from the bark of the Pacific Yew tree.

In the November 2009 issue of O (The Oprah Magazine), Dr. Oz analyses four approaches for treating headaches: Neurology, Acupuncture, Nutrition and HOMEOPATHY!  Dana Ullman is quoted in the section on homeopathy-Dana has been very active promoting homeopathy in the US media, Huffington Post Online as well.

Under MY RECOMMENDATION Dr. Oz  says: “Acupuncture and homeopathy are worth considering as adjunct therapies once you are sure that the headache is not a sign of serious disorder.”

“14 Studies” Corrupt.

Posted on May 14, 2009. Filed under: "14 Studies" Corrupt | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

It is interesting how the critics of homeopathy are constantly harping on the dangers of homeopathy. How we cannot prove it is effective, that our studies are not “scientific” or at the very least flawed. How giving a remedy and seeing the individual get healthier is anecdotal and therefore worthless. The more I research the studies done on drugs the more I realize that “good science” has nothing to do with it. That their randomized clinical trials are manipulated to create a positive outcome for the benefit of the drug companies, not the individual. Just look at the long list of dangerous side effects of any given drug and you will quickly conclude that drugs are not about “cure”, but about suppression and palliation with numerous risks. One thing the skeptics cannot say about homeopathy, is that the studies being done are for the benefit of the homeopathic pharmaceutical companies, there are no long list of side effects that come with every vile of remedy and no one is getting rich.

Here is the latest evidence of the continuing corruption behind drug companies:

The “14 Studies” commonly quoted in the press are corrupt:

  1. Contrary to popular belief, to date, their have only been a small amount of studies, most of those, if not all, are pharmaceutical influenced, that only look at two possible vaccine induced causes of autism –the MMR Vaccine and Mercury (one vaccine out of 36 and one ingredient out of 35)

  1. All of the 14 “studies” that are commonly spoken about in the media are heavily influenced by the pharmaceutical industry and often fraudulent.
    1. All of the 14 studies have serious, undisclosed conflicts of interest, are influenced by pharmaceutical companies or have serious design flaws.
    2. No independent vaccine-autism studies have been conducted.
    3. No studies asking questions about long-term side effects including health outcomes (like chronic illness and neurological disorders) or comparing the vaccinated and unvaccinated community have been conducted.
    4. No studies have been conducted to look at the present (or any) vaccine schedule to monitor vaccine interactions in individuals.

Gimpy At It Again!!

Posted on January 25, 2009. Filed under: Gimpy At It Again!! | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

It seems that “Gimpy” and his gang of anti-homeopathic bloggers are on another rampage. This time the focus of their vicious attacks is one of the world’s most revered homeopaths, Jeremy Sherr. Here is a letter from Jeremy in response to their mindless, wretched and inane accusations:

 My homoeopathic friends,

In the past few days the Tanzanian AIDS project and I have become the target of the “anti homoeopathy” attackers in the UK.  They have posted on both my blog, the “gimpyblog”
http://gimpyblog.wordpress.com/  and others with inflammatory speculation and erroneous conclusions about the Homoeopathy AIDS project.

We would like to bring this to the attention of the larger homoeopathic community.  As many of you know, there has been an ongoing campaign to discredit and annihilate homoeopathy in the UK by posting false information and unfounded and inflammatory opinions. Their battlefield has now expanded to Tanzania.

In the attacks on the Tanzanian AIDS project they took parts of my blog and previous interviews from my website archives and contrived a story in order to further their desire to malign homoeopathy.  They allege that I am persuading patients to use homoeopathy in place of ARVs, which is totally untrue. They claim that any research of homoeopathy is unethical as there is no proof that homoeopathy works.  They even went so far as to claim that my treating AIDS patients in Tanzania with homoeopathy will lead to mass murder.  These accusations are not only malicious, they are libelous.
Their tactics were not confined to regurgitation their thoughts online.  One follower even phoned a UK organization that supports the AIDS project and also contacted UK and Tanzanian government officials, claiming that there was an ‘unethical’ project taking place.

I am urging the global homoeopathic community to rise up in solidarity.

This is a tiny but dedicated faction who uses the internet blogs and the media to amplify their spurious attacks.

They have stated that they are determined to kill homoeopathy.

They have had negative impact on the availability of homoeopathy in the UK and are responsible for the closing of homoeopathy hospitals and clinics as a direct consequence of their campaign.

Here are some ways to show your support for the work of all homoeopaths worldwide and for the Tanzanian AIDS clinic.

1. MEET THEM ON THEIR OWN GROUND: Flood their blogs http://gimpyblog.wordpress.com/  with posts on the benefits of homeopathy, using examples of your own experiences.  They can argue endlessly about the theory, but what do they say to the hundreds of thousands of people who have had improved health?

2. USE THE INTERNET TO AMPLIFY HOMOEOPATHY’S VOICE.
Go to my blog and post your supportive comments on
http://www.jeremysjournalfromafrica.blogspot.com
Let anyone visiting the blog see the overwhelming support for this project and homoeopathy in general.  To learn more about the project, see my website
http://www.dynamis.edu

3. PUT A STOP TO THESE ATTACKS.  Homoeopathy is our beloved profession, our mission in life. Respond vigorously to any attempts to intimidate practitioners or to denigrate your passion to bring our gentle healing to others, wherever they may live.

Meanwhile, I am returning to Tanzania to continue treating AIDS patients.  In my first six weeks I have treated 100 AIDS patients with very promising results.  We have a clinic administrator in the north where a high percent of the people have AIDS and where there are very few medical institutions. The situation is worse than I could ever have imagined, worse than anything shown on television or written in books. The patients are eager to use homoeopathy and I am eager to help them.

I and my colleagues are fully committed to establishing a treatment, teaching and research center in Tanzania.  This is homoeopathy’s chance to shine.  Please join us!

Praising Homeopathy

Roger Daltrey: homoeopathy saved my baby’s life

What got him into complementary therapies? He gazes into his palms, then says: “I had a very, very dramatic experience with my son when he was nine months old. He had gastro difficulties, started throwing up, could not keep any food down and turned into skin and bone. At the hospital, they did every test to him, and in the end they just handed him back to me. My wife and I were in bits. My poor baby. The kid was dying. It was terrifying. I thought, there’s got to be something. I’d heard of homoeopathy, so I found a local guy in the Yellow Pages and took my boy there. He gave him some powders. Within two weeks he was putting weight on, keeping the food down. The trouble recurred periodically for a couple of years, but he’s now 27, a fit and healthy young man.

“The bizarre thing is that I’ve got a chiropractor friend in LA whose baby landed up in exactly the same state. He thought he was about to lose him. But I recommended homoeopathic remedies, and he recovered too. That’s God’s honest truth. Now I bet doctors would say, ‘Oh they’d have got better anyway’. But I can’t believe that.”

Homeopathy Worked for Me

Posted on April 27, 2008. Filed under: Homeopathy Worked for Me, Uncategorized | Tags: , , , , , , , |

Homeopathy worked for me is a campaign to preserve the right for consumers to choose their preferred form of health care. Recently Amy Lansky, a champion of homeopathy, wrote a compelling letter. I whole heartily agree with her appeal for everyone touched by homeopathy to continue to tell their success stories; feel free to post them on this blog!

Amy Lansky urges people to keep telling their stories .
If you receive the Society of Homeopaths newsletter, you would have read the quarterly column called “Letter from America” written by Amy Lansky.  She is a board member for the National Center for Homeopathy in the USA and also the author of Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy which is popular in America and has been translated into German, Greek and soon Arabic.

In a letter to homeopaths recently, Amy wrote:

One thing that has contributed to the success of my book are the stories in it — the story of how my son was cured of autism, along with dozens of other first-person homeopathic cure stories from people all over the world.  Stories make the world go round.  And it is stories that can help save homeopathy — because people will not allow something that can really help them to be taken away.  Very few people are moved by studies;  but nearly everyone is affected by someone’s personal experience. That’s what this campaign is all about.

I’m sure most of you are aware of the attacks on homeopathy going on in the UK. These attacks are starting to be felt here in the US as well.  All American homeopaths are acutely aware of how homeopathy was nearly destroyed at the beginning of the 20th century due to a concerted campaign by the allopathic machine.

All I can say is — NOW is the time to act to protect your right to practice homeopathy and the right of your patients to receive homeopathic treatment.  It is NOT a time for head-in-the-sand mentality.

However, your right to practice, your access to remedies, and your patients’ rights to health freedom may soon become jeopardized as well.  Just consider the growing efforts to harmonize practices and access to remedies with the EU and GTO rulings.  And let’s not forget the mounting effort of the medical-industrial complex to paint homeopathy as not only bogus but even dangerous.

Amy urges homeopaths and patients alike to speak up for homeopathy and to show support for Homeopathy Worked for Me.
